Interconnected
I’m currently studying causal loops, which basically deals with the fact that virtually everything is caused by something and subsequently, affects something else, then either reinforces or balances itself until it comes back around to start the process over again, thus the loop. It all has to do with the fact that we can’t escape the fact that we are interconnected in our families, our jobs, our passions, and activities. Rarely are we completely separate from others and circumstances around us. Like it or not, we depend on each other and more importantly, we affect each other.
So, today think about your interconnectedness. What decisions and behaviors that will originate from you will change the trajectory of someone else today? What has someone else done that has affected you? When you think in this kind of systems perspective, you will understand how influential you truly are. You may not think that what you do and say matters in the least, but the concept of interconnection tells us otherwise. What you and I do make a ripple, which over time can increase to a tidal wave. Our decisions and actions could change someone’s life and could even change the world.
Lead well.
